The Parasite Extinction Assessment & Red List (release 1.0) is the first global assessment of the extinction risk and conservation triage of macroparasitic invertebrates. The study is the result of collaboration between 19 scientists in 8 countries, with a forthcoming study in Science Advances reporting the results of the underlying global analysis. PEARL is based on a dataset compiling the most expansive set of occurrence data for macroparasites currently openly available to researchers.
